Better Access to Mental Health Care (referral needed from GP)
Medicare rebates are available through Better Access to Mental Health Care for up to ten individual and ten group allied mental health services per calendar year to patients with an assessed mental disorder who are referred by:
A GP managing the patient under a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan or

A psychiatrist or paediatrician.
If you wish to access the Medicare rebate, you will need to arrange a Mental Health Treatment Plan, along with a referral letter for Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (Cindy Hsiang), with your GP, prior to your appointment.
Through Better Access to Mental Health Care (a rebate of $84.50 per appointment), up to ten individual sessions per calendar year to clients with an assessed mental disorder are available.
Some Things to Remember:
Please bring your Mental Health Treatment Plan, along with a referral letter to Cindy Hsiang, with you on the day of your initial appointment.
The full session fee will be payable on the day of your appointment. We can then process the Medicare rebate for you.
